in 1996 Pumping basslines and thundering kickdrums fill the dark sweaty club, the strobelights are flashing and the air is filled with smoke, this is ‘ House Without A Home’. The first release was done by The Deep, three Brooklyn natives who have done work for Dave Clarke's Bush label. The follow up to this was done by Christian Scott, a New York DJ who's production talents have also appeared on Strictly Rhythm, the label that has defined the New York house Sound. Only two EPs were made for this short lived label from Brooklyn. Founded by Lenny Dee & Dave Tee. |
