in 1998 The first & only release from Machete was produced by WARFARE ie The Panacea after the US release of twisted Designz. ISR was experimenting in other styles & the hard pounding sounds of Drum & Bass was just the outlet to explore. Lenny Dee was one for the first electronic producers to use drum loops back in the end of the 80's & thru the early 90's and the Machete name was our way of cutting thru the jungle & expressing a hard interpretation of d&b. |
